Jimmy, Arkansas Director of Peer Services, pardoned by the Governor of Arkansas, is the founding member of both the Arkansas Peers Advisory Committee (APAC) and the Arkansas Peers Achieving Recovery Together (A.P.A.R.T) coalition and is the current chair for the SAMHSA Region 6 Peer Support Advisory Committee. Jimmy is also an executive committee member of the National Peer Recovery Alliance.

Jimmy is the State’s Recovery Manager for the Arkansas Drug Director’s office, and he is a certified Peer Recovery Peer Supervisor (PRPS). His lived experience has allowed him the chance to lead the development of the Peer Recovery Infrastructure throughout Arkansas. 

Jimmy's former experiences with 23 years of addiction and several incarcerations give him the unique ability to lead other Peer Recovery Specialist.  His dedicated efforts have allowed Arkansas to place peer recovery inside the Department of Human Services, the Division of Youth Services, the Department of Health, emergency rooms, drug courts, jails, reentry centers, prisons, law enforcement partnerships, Recovery Community Organizations (RCOs) and community service centers.  

He and his wife are the founders of Next Step Recovery Housing, a non-profit recovery foundation that houses people in recovery.

Pastor Wesley leads the Greater Little Rock Baptist Church in providing resources for reentry, recovery, and homelessness. The church has opened it doors to returning citizens and encourages them to be active participants in all church activities. Every week people find Greater Little Rock a place to call home. “No matter where you are in the journey, our church is glad to have you among us”.

In 2021, Dr. Wesley was selected by Gov. Ron DeSantis to be a member of the Escambia Children's Trust Board.

Dr. Wesley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications (Public Relations) from Alabama State University. Immediately following college graduation, Wesley was recruited by Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi, as the Assistant Sports Information Director/Director of Marketing and Promotions.

After starting on a Master of Arts degree in Christian Education at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Wesley finished and graduated from Selma University. He graduated with a Doctorate of Ministry degree in Expository Preaching at Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina. 

Jennifer Rechichi, MS

Jennifer A. Rechichi is a solutions-focused professional with an extensive background in the development of risk/needs assessment, program development, and program implementation in both the fields of juvenile justice and adult corrections. Jennifer currently serves as the Assistant Bureau Chief of Program Development, at the Florida Department of Corrections after working for nearly 13 years in numerous leadership positions for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. In this role, she is responsible for the training and oversight of the implementation of the Department’s risk/needs assessment instrument, as well as the Program Clearinghouse. Jennifer holds an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and a B.S. in Family, Child and Consumer Sciences, from Florida State University. Jennifer’s research interests include training, implementation, and fidelity of evidence-based and best practices and risk assessment.

Felita S. Robinson, Co-Founder

Felita Robinson, a returning citizen, spent 37 years, 11 months and 24 days incarcerated in prison prior to her release.  Felita will outline the unique challenges she faced and continues to face as she transitions from prison to the free world.  

Felita has a riveting story that will benefit all conference attendees.

One of the first challenges Felita faced preparing for her release was the inability to find housing in the county where she was sentenced.  As such, Felita and another returning citizen Lisa Johnson, started a nonprofit business supporting women coming home to the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.  This program, Rise Reentry, Inc., is a residential/residential program open to women being released from prison without discrimination.

Will has 8 years of experience in the field of mental health and substance abuse services. Will serves as a Youth & Adult Mental Health First Responder, a member of the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network Postvention Response Team, a QPR trainer, Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer, a WRAP I & II facilitator, a Trauma-informed Approach trainer, and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor.

In his role as an Overdose Prevention Specialist, Will provides Naloxone training and distribution to individuals at high risk of opiate overdose. He creates access points for individuals seeking recovery support by staying current with evidence-based practices, treatment bed availability, and current funding sources. 

Will is a graduate of Tennessee State University.

John Woods, Ed.D.

Dr. Woods is originally from Los Angeles, California. He served in the United States Air Force for 30 years, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Air Force, He taught Middle/High School Social Studies and tutored At-Risk youth in the Pensacola Area.

Dr. Woods has been a volunteer in various Correctional Institutions since 2010. He is currently a national board member for Family Integrity Training (FIT) and Christian Military Fellowship. Dr. Woods is a trained facilitator for FIT courses.

He has worked with incarcerated Veterans and Reentry individuals since 2015. Dr. Woods is the Academic Coordinator for Veterans Upward Bound at Pensacola State College. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Administration degrees from Troy State University and an Education Specialist and Doctor of Education degrees from the University of West Florida.

He is the Co-Author of the Practical Parenting course published by Family Integrity Training.

Nichole Landrum, FCCM

Nichole Landrum began her career with the Florida Department of Corrections in 1995. Throughout the past 27 years she has held positions of increasing responsibility and authority. She has more than 10 years of experience working with reentry initiatives, to include serving as the Classification Supervisor during the opening of Gadsden Re-Entry Center and Assistant Bureau Chief for the Bureau of Re-Entry and Education, where apprenticeship programs were introduced to facilities, several veterans’ dorms were created, and the management of the 100 Hour Transition program and Re-Entry Seminars were under her direction. Nichole currently is the Statewide Re-Entry Administrator where she is leading the efforts to establish programming and restorative connections the FDC’s Short Sentence Correctional Institutions (SSCI). Additionally, she oversees the Mentor Academy selection process, Roadmap to Restoration efforts throughout the state, the oversight, and operations of the statewide Volunteer Services program, monitoring of the reentry seminars statewide, and providing training to staff, volunteers, and stakeholders. She also participates in several local reentry coalition/taskforce meetings. Nichole is a member of the American Correctional Association.

Ivy Mathis

Ivy started a for profit business and a non-profit organization, Successful Imperfections. She was approved by the Governor of Louisiana to sit on the Families of Incarcerated Parents and Caregivers Board. A member of the Families of Loved ones Advisory Board with the Department of Corrections where she sits on the re-entry committee knowing firsthand how integrating back into society looks whether it be someone who has served a shorter term or a longer one. The needs are different.

Ivy Mathis was given a life sentence at the age of 17. She served 26 years and was released on December 11, 2018. She was the first female juvenile lifer granted release through the parole board due to a ruling that passed at the Supreme Court in 2017. The ruling stated: Life sentences given to anyone under the age of 18 were unconstitutional. When she was released, she made a promise to the women she left behind, vowing she would never forget them. Ivy created a re-entry program called "Life Support" which she now teaches at the same prison where she was incarcerated. She graduated the Life Support, 1st inaugural class of 22 women on June 30, 2022.

Recognizing the limited opportunities for women after incarceration; Ivy focuses on teaching them how to avoid barriers while implanting success.

Al Stubblefield actively participates in the leadership of the First Baptist Church, Prison Ministry Program. As a member of the prison ministry team, he has the unique privilege of ministering to incarcerated men. His experiences allow him to see firsthand the difficult daily responsibilities of those who work in correctional facilities and make him poignantly aware of the challenges those who are incarcerated experience. Al knows all about creating cultures that wow. During his tenure as President and CEO of Baptist Healthcare Corporation, Al led his team of administrators, physicians, nurses, and staff through a cultural transformation journey. In a few short years, Al took his health system from the 17th to the 99th percentile—an achievement that earned him the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Jynelle Robinson is an innovative and accomplished program and human resources management professional with a track record of success in human capital strategies, workforce development, operational oversight, quality improvement, labor relations, coaching, and organizational development. She is a collaborative professional, experienced in small, mid, and large-scale project/program management, (including the management of multi-disciplinary teams), and is adept at identifying training and developmental needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and partnering with leadership. Currently, Mrs. Robinson is the Statewide Community Transition Administrator for the Florida Department of Corrections, where she is leading an effort to align best practices in reentry to improve employment and other outcomes for those returning from incarceration and reduce recidivism. Previous work assignments have included Project Coordination for the division of workforce development at Tallahassee Community College, Board Staff at CareerSource Capital Region, Director of HR and Administration at Mainline Information Systems, Director of HR and Administration at Disability Rights Florida, and Director of HR and Administration at VISIT FLORIDA.
